Since our establishment in 1999, we have adhered to our corporate philosophy of "a new and more efficient broadband life for all." By pursuing our corporate mission of promoting competition and deregulation in the telecommunication market, we led the rapid growth of ADSL services and contributed to making Japan one of the world's leading broadband markets.

eAccess focused on both high growth and profitability. We recorded a full-year net profit and eliminated the accumulated deficit quickly. In November 2004, we listed our shares on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange(TSE1), only five years after the Company's establishment. This marked effectively the fastest-ever listing on the TSE1.

Furthermore, our group company, EMOBILE Ltd., launched its data service in March 2007. Our entry into the mobile telecom market was the first in 13 years. EMOBILE launched its voice service in March 2008. With its high-speed, flat-rate, low-price mobile broadband service, EMOBILE unleashed a major wave of innovation in the mobile telecom market.

In June 2009, eAccess, the Group’s parent company, merged with ACCA Networks to further expand its Network Business operations and branch into new businesses, including Devices Business, Backbone Business and MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) Business, with its stable financial fundamental based on its Network Business. Consolidating with EMOBILE in July 2010, eAccess Group will continue to solidify the foundations of its telecom operations in pursuit of advancement of broadband service.
