Comments on Approval on the Establishment Plans for Special Base Stations
in the 700MHz Band

eAccess Ltd. ("eAccess") is pleased to announce that eAccess received an approval on its establishment plans for special base stations in the 700MHz by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications ("MIC") today. We consider this approval very valuable and important in strengthening our business base and enhancing the market competitiveness. 700MHz band, also known as "platinum band", enables more efficient area expansion compared to 1.7GHz band in which eAccess is currently operating. With this first platinum band, eAccess intends to effectively utilize the 700MHz band to further deploy LTE.

Currently, the nationwide population coverage for EMOBILE service is 95% in the existing 1.7GHz band. Since March 2012, eAccess provides LTE service with the maximum downlink speed of 75Mbps and continues to further expand the area coverage. Upon allocation of the 700MHz band and utilizing the characteristics of the platinum band, eAccess continues to work on expanding the LTE area coverage in rural and suburban areas, aiming for 99% of nationwide population coverage at an early date. Furthermore, approved establishment plan incorporates additional base station construction plans in high-traffic areas to accommodate increasing LTE traffic and to continue offering high quality services. In addition, eAccess plans to introduce advanced communication technologies such as VoLTE (Voice over LTE).

In order to use the 700MHz band, the operators who newly received the 700MHz are to discuss the migration measures with the operators that are currently using 700MHz band, in accordance with the guideline from the MIC. We appreciate existing operatorsf cooperation for a smooth transition of the spectrum migration.

With the approval on the establishment plans for special base stations in the 700MHz band, eAccess continues to lead the mobile broadband market and put all efforts to improve the mobile communication environment.
